Lars Oxfeldt Mortensen
Journalist, director, and producer.

I established my firm in 1994. As independent I have produced and directed a number of internationally acclaimed prize-winning documentaries about art, architecture, politics and science.

The clientele comprises of the main Danish broadcasters, the Danish Film institute, Ministry of Culture, The Red Cross, The Danish Cancer Society and various private corporations.

Among others I have produced for broadcasters like La Sept ARTE, NRK, YLE, SVT, ARD, RTVE, VRT, Lichtpunt, RTP, TèléQuebec, CBC, ABC, The Discovery Channel.

In convenient short term periods I am hired as coach or editor on tv-series for other production companies.

Furthermore, I am called on as media consultant for institutions and corporations.

Through out the years I have held courses in communication and I have been coaching corporate leaders and politicians, and directed a number of corporate videos.

2008: The Cloud Mystery:
The film records ten years of effort by the small team in Copenhagen that, in the end, solved the mystery of how the Galaxy and the Sun interfere in our everyday weather.
Broadcasts: Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, France, Belgium, Australia, Poland, Greece, Italy, Israel, and will be aired on ARTE/ France 2009.

2004: Doomsday Called off: Documentary about climate change. Broadcasted in Denmark, Belgium, Finland, Canada, Norway, Middle East, Asia.

2004: A Woman´s Anger: Documentary about civil disobedience. Aired in the Nordic countries.

2001: The Climate Conflict: Documentary about the Solar influence on the global climate. Broadcast 2001 in DR-TV, La sept ARTE, VRT, NDR/ARD, RTVE, SVT, NRK, RTP and YLE 1.

2000: Cities for people:
Film about how we make better cities for people. Broadcasted in DR-TV,YLE, NRK and SVT (1999-2000)

2000: Tapestries for a Queen: Documentary and portrait of the artist Bjørn Nørgaard and the making of 17 tapestries for Queen Margrethe the second of Denmark. (DR-TV 2000).

1995: Wheel of Hormones:
A International documentary about the influence of artificial oestrogen´s on humans. Broadcasted in 10 countries.
